Edelbrock bought the rights to make the Carter AFB (in the 80s?) and also make an AVS which I know nothing about. All I have messed with is the Carter AFB and the Edelbrock version...simple to rebuild.

I would assume you can find the same thing on the 'bay. I am not finding any 4100 clones.

That might be a "forever carb." Way more $$$ than when I bought mine.

Yeah they can be pretty pricey new.thanks for the links, making it easy on me. I just got notified my manuals showed up today, so hopefully i wont feel mostly lost taking her apart. I tell you these old cars are sooooo much easier to work on than say a mid 2000s bmw, or even a gen 4 ram. Seems like a honda and the 10mm, every bolt is a 9/16 and every nut seems to be a 1/2.

I may start cheap and small, and once i am comfortable that i know what is what maybe get the forever carb.
