I am venturing something similar i think, then i think why not stroke it? Then im like well if you are going to pay to stroke it, why not just get a bigger engine? I think, i am going something along your route, maybe some aluminum heads, or if i can find some 273s, cant remember what that changes everything to as far as compression.
