Well she is finally here.
So edelbrock is a modern version of the carter. Parts are way more available and cheap for the edelbrock! Look on line for a used 600 or 650. I have a rebuild kit if necessary. I feel like maybe I would like to help you if you want.. i really dont have time in the next week or two but would you like if I came to help you for a day? I have a 500 edelbrock that would work for a fire up.. mYbe that would help you. Your budget is going to be a slow roll anyway. It would be nice to know where the starting point is… if your serious and committed I would consider helping you with a fire up!
