im considering trading my truck for a dart/scamp
its a 94 ram 1500 sport shortbed single cab.pm me if interested.

I've 2 partially torn rotators and a torn bi-cep (I climbed poles for the telephone company for 38 yrs), you can do it! Drop in a good 318 and drive it! I've heads to replace on mine, do what you can then step back for a while. Get a cheap ricer for a driver.

So, what is it that is close to you that you really want?
Like so many other replies in this thread I was in the same boat. Had an original '69 340 Swinger that (stupidly) I cut up to make a racecar back in the mid-70's. Put $18K in the car back then and almost had it completed to run NHRA Super Street (10.90 index). Went through a divorce, kept the car, kept the kids, bought the ex out of the house, and the Dart sat in the garage untouched for over 10 years but always with the dream of finishing it. Got re-married and new wife didn't have the same dream as I did. Anyway, got in a small financial bind and ended up selling the care for $5K. I always regretted selling my Dart and tried to make up for it by restifying my '83 Hurst Olds (another original owner car). Didn't work as I wanted my Mopar back. Bought another '69 Dart last year and currently going through the build-up again (the Hurst Olds is up for sale if anyone's interested). Got to have my small-block Mopar.
I really hope you find something that fits your needs.
