10.90s WITH A STREET 416

Is this thru-the-muffs with real DOT tires ? How much weight are you talking about ? ?

I have very little A engine experience but a Buds "project street sleeper" would be better suited for an A engine ... this car being a early 80's Fifth Avenue.

With some reasonable weight reduction and some fiberglass parts .... I would think maybe(?) ... it could get down to 3200 or so.

With MUFFS and running through them ... with street tires .... and driving it to the track -- he wants to shoot for something that we have had a discussion about ... 11.99 et ...and get 20 mpg.

Its going to take alot to get that 5TH AVY down to 3200LBS! I played around with one. It weighed 4100LBS w/driver. Mine had a blueprinted E58 360, small valve heads, 8.5 comp., stock 340 cam, port matched Eldo street master intake, T-Quad carb, 1 5/8 headers, 2 1/4 exh, 2.74 lo gear 999, 2.94 8 1/4 suregrip, & all options that worked. 14.80's all day long on 87 octane. It was a fun car. If I was doing it again, it would be a 440 in it.
