It`s about time I tell you what`s going on at my garage. This built begun 2 years ago and I`m 90% finish. The idea is to build it like a 60s street/drag car. The car was in bad shape when I bougth it, it had a volvo 260 front suspension that was heavy and extremly ugly. The upside was it had a 340 with a833 trans and 8 3/4 rear. Here are some pics.

Very impressive...That looks awesome. How hard was it to get the new front into alignment with the rest of the chassis?

Great work!

Thank You!

Nice work. Just goes to show anything can be fixed if you really want to.

Now I am no frame expert, but aren't those front rails a bit undersize????
Seriously....looks like a really fun project!!

Happy New Year everybody!! Some more pics from underneath. I removed (believe it or not) 33pounds of old and nasty undercoating. Took me like two weeks. I will never, never do that again!

Thanks for the replies :toothy5: The plan is to get it finished sometime this spring. I`ve been working on it off and on for about 1 1/2 year and now it`s almost ready for the first startup. Here`s more pictures of the front end.
