Lets see your rear defogger/speaker adapter
Guys, I snagged an adapter from a C-body that allows the installation of both a rear defogger and a second rear speaker. I was hoping to retrofit it into my A-body, but after fiddling with it tonight, I don't think it's gonna work. It will only bolt in one way, which won't clear the torsion bars for the deck lid.
Maybe they're not all the same? The one I have was pulled from a '73 Newport and has the number 2936346 cast into the adapter housing.
If you have one of these adapters in your A-body, let's see it. If possible, please post the number cast into it. I'd like to find a correct one as this one appears to be useless to me.
