The wrecked dart is a GTS that I bought brand new in 69 after getting asked to leave grade 10, I coudn,t wait to get into the workforce anyway so I could buy that dart.I owned it for 6 mos. when 1 late night it got loose on me on the big end & went end over end quite a number of times before coming to rest on its roof in a swamp,They wern't the greatest handling unit on the road at the time but went like hell in a straight line.Anyway I didn,t stay with it for the entire ride as I didn't wear seat belts in those days (it was the rebel thing to do)and was ejected out the back window I think?Lost a lot of my dental work,concusion,250 stitches,broken arm and had to piss in a bag for a week ,other than came out of it pretty good.My buddy in a 69 super bee(same colour as my dart) came back looking for me when I didnt arrive at our destination,found me wandering down the road,loaded me in his back seat and headed for the local hospital.I know for certain that dart went by way of the crusher as there was absolutely nothing salvagable.
