all the chrysler overdrive torqueflites suck, never last,always failling (mostly due to valve body problems)but the cherokee sport (the small one) never used a torqueflite behind any of the 4.0 engines.they all used a ASIN WARNER trans (jap tranny) that tranny will go for 200,000 miles most of the time without a falure.i am very suprised chrysler never used these trannys behind all the 4.0 engines.
