64 Dart 5.7 hemi update thread.

Update time. The weather was nice so i had to work on the GT. OK, i got the lower rad support welded in (except for the sides). Everything came out well, the radiator is still center to the frame and as you can see by my little cardboard piece i have a good fillerneck to hood clearnace. I also made some grommets out of some heavy foam hoses I found. They turned out great, theyll give the radiator a softer ride, and they didnt mess with my fillerneck to hood clearance. I also cut an area out for the drain. The only thing i think i need to work on is the area where the prongs go through the lower rad support, i have a little play, i can wiggle the radiator abit by hand.

I wanted to see what kinda clearance i had with the front valance in place, and as you can see the prongs do not hit the front valance. However, i may cut them up abit so that if I were to hit something on the road that would push the valance up abit, it wont raise the radiator.

Well, i still have to weld the sides and do alot of grinding, so this should be it till next week or so.
