68 Cuda vin/body code question

Let me see if I have this right- my 68 Cuda vin # (on the dash) matches the vin on the title. On 68's the "body code", as Galen Govier calls it, does not correlate to the vin #. This is as it should be, right? The body code # on my 68 core support matches the # on the fender tag, as it should. According to GG, this different body code/vin numbering system ended with the 68 cars. On 68s, the body code # may (or may not) be found at a secondary location on the car body somewhere. I looked on the trunk rail near where the weatherstrip seals, thinking I might find it there. No luck. Any ideas where else it might be found? This whole system is different from my 70 Challenger, where the dash/fender tag/core support/cowl #'s all match.
