Resto progress

Hey Bill, no its actually a 318, with an (w/center con) auto.

Man I wish they made them with 340's for export. The biggest liter allowed was the 318 for its weight/size.

Everything else was 340 spec, 4-piston KH's disc brakes, 8 3/4 rear w/3:53's, HD suspension, HO alternator and oh lets not forget the mighty 2bb!!

They were pretty much FS when the went export, at least with the items mentioned. It was told to me that when they shipped, they (meaning mother mopar) much wasn't expecting to see them again hence all the HD goodies.

Warrick-Wright was the importer at that time and from my understanding they were not a dealership for Chrysler as they were an importer of all kinds of car makes and models both US and Europe.

As for the luggage rack it was one of those that clipped then strapped onto the trunklid and the ant on the rear was spec for the exports as was the radio delet plate (long gone) option.

In the UK they used a different broadcasting format then in the US, hence no radios but they shipped with antenna's installed.

No hole in the front fender, personally I like the antenna in the back, very sporty I say!

So......any pics of the interior yet, sorry.....you got me going!
