Really 14 inch is too small. The tire grips better with a 15 inch wheel. Never tried 16 to 18 inch.

IMO the 14 inch wheels should have never been made. Not when the 15 inch grip better.

The Mopar Abody never came with a 15" rim from the factory,
and the 14" rims, were not made in the small bolt pattern till 1965.

I upgraded my Valiant from 7.00 x 13, on 13" x4.5" rims
to 205/70/R14 on 14"x5.5" rims.
