Her 72 scamp.

Good God I worked on it!!!

Sunny weekend in Seattle (for once) so I pulled it out, washed it and worked on it.

I scrapped the 500 Eddy idea and am going with a Holley 390 this way I wont have to swap cams right away and we can get it on the road faster. I used one of the 450's off my T-ram for set up The fuel line is just a mock up from some scrap that was in the pile. The real line will be 1000 times nicer.

I picked up a pair of fog lights at a truck stop for 40 bucks because they have a purple tint to them and the damn things bolted right to the tab with the hole in it in front of the core support and they are the perfect hight.

Damn, I must have done something right all the lights work, the horn blows, and the motor cranks over!!! I also fineshed all the wireing.

I still have to get a new set of calipers for the KH disks, take out the dash frame and steering column so we can paint them body color, get the glass put in, order seat covers, get the exhaust done with the NOS pair of TA challenger tips, finnish the console, and about 1 billion other little things that I can't remember. THEN we are going to do a scratch and shoot once it is on the road. I am not happy with the paint job we got so me and 2 buddies (one is a chevy guy and the other is a VW guy) are going to knock the whole thing out in 2 weekends, one for sanding and prep and the other for paint.

There is a show at the *** Burgers in Issaquah, WA on June 1st that Nikki said she wants to take the "Scampette" to (it's her car, she got to name it) so it looks like I have a deadline to meet.
