My driver door doesnt line up at the bottom of jam and will not shut properly. I have tried to adjust from the jam but no luck. Any ideas on getting the bottom to pull back in.

Loosen door hinges and pull top out a scoch , shim if necessary. It helps with door alignment if you put a jack with a pad to protect the bottom of the door in the middle while loosening. I just took my doors off for fender replacement and musta put em back on and off 20 times before I got them to fit right.

I always restore the hindges with a pin/bushing kit before loosening any bolts. 9 times out of 10 no other adjustment is needed.
In 1990 General Motors was selling 10 thousand of those little bronze bushings per year.

door alignment is a royal pita. like redfish said replace the pin bushings first, then align the door to the body, align the door latch to the door, then align the fenders to the door and hood. it took me an entire weekend to get everything bolted on and lined up right.

Replace those bushings for Sure ! Then Realign it. Trying to align a door with "sloppy" hinges just never works.

Trick of the Day: If you are about to remove ANY Body Panel (and it fits) Just drill a few 1/8" holes before unbolting for quick EASY realignment. I.E. If i were doing doors, I'd drill a top n bottom hole on each body side hinge, then drill a top n bottom on the door side. You'll Never miss align it again ! And you could allways hide the hole later with some body seam sealer and a bit of touch up paint.
Just my .02 .... Eric
