new engine combo

Well........ The 4:10 ratio would be my choice, Bar. And the cal-tracs are good too. My guess is high 10's because you lightened up the car and made it a lot stiffer. That's if you can get the traction. The cal-tracs will help it a lot. I'm an old school guy that has used SS springs and a pinion snubber with very good results in the past for street/strip applications. I don't know how the cal-tracs are on the street. What does your car weigh? my guess is 3300 lbs. if you take all of the beer cans out of the back! lol ....... You really need a 8 3/4, 489 case and mini tubs to get traction too as well as reliability. All this stuff can be transferred to your '72 swinger when you sort it out and you will be ahead of the game. Maybe you can phone our friend in Calgary and you can get this stuff for free, he obviously has contacts, lol.....and the favour would be returned. :evil4:
