new engine combo

that's what i did,and i put molley top rings in it and cast as a second ring
for the nos i'm gonna buy a second pump,so i can run more nos (more fuelpressure than the carb needs)
and for the timing retard...that's why i went for the digital 6

I am assuming KB hypereutectic pistons. KB has very specific requirements for ring end gap. With NOS you will need upwards of 0.030" of gap, with out the NOS it is about 0.024". Violate this and you will be rebuilding the engine again soon becasue of broken pistons. Whether they are moly coated or not is not the issue, it's the end gap. KB postions the rings closer to the top of the piston so they run hotter and need the additional gap. When the are up to temperature the gap is the same as other pistons.

Also, hypereutectic pistons are not the best choice when running NOS. I would limit the NOS to a 100 shot. But of course if you have forged KB pistons this is not an issues.
