Hi Everyone,
Recently bought a '72 Duster for the wife to race. Sold My E-Bod Cuda a couple years ago and ever since the wife and daughter have been after me to go racing again! A- bodies are a new topic to me, so bear with me if I ask too many questions.
Thanks for letting me Hang!
Tony

Welcome to FABO!
Ummmmmmmm, I guess this is a place where you can pick up tips on going fast. No real secrect. Whatcha building (CID) and how fast ya wanna go?

Something I never thought I'd do, bought a car off of E-bay and well..........., I did, OK? I think? We bought a '72 Duster, that's as solid as they get AND PINK!!! The next phase involves dissassembly to truly decide if it'll be a straight runner. The purchase price was real fair and like I said the body is about as rust free as a person can find. First order of business is brakes and a rear axle, then I think we're gonna go with Calvert's rear suspension. The local Mopar engine shop has a 9.5:1 360 already built for us. OFF WE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the wonderfull world of A bodies.
Just cause Mopar changed the Cudas from A bodies
to E bodies. They didn't get any better. Just
more expensive.

Here we are with a 360 with 8.3compression running 12.0s , And now running 10 .40s with 414 stroker ,W calvert system.
