Hooked up some stainless lines, fuel pump to carb. Stripped the inlet(housing) in the carb (carter abs) for the line. Does anyone have any ideas????

Did that on my daughters car, I think it was a loc-tite product...it's an epoxy you mix and spread on the carb threads and a release agent for the fuel line threads...let it set up and it worked great!! other then that maybe helicoil??

the brass fitting into the carb or the body of the carb that the brass fitting screws into?

new carb???

Nah, ask on the site I'm sure someone's got a old housing they'll sell ya. Personally I would never jury rig a fuel line connection who's threads are stippped, it's just putting your *** to far out there.
Get all the particulars off the carb eg. model and size before asking and maybe a picture to (not that most people on this site don't know what a Carter looks like) we just like pictures.

This is the best fix I found for a abs. :-D

sounds like a new airhorn is in order. i've got a few around here, but pics would be good as well as a carb # from the pad by the pass front mounting bolt.

Seriously I would find a housing that has good threads because just the thought of a rigged up inlet would make me a little paranoid on my nice car. I saw a real Opel GT go up in flames because of a rigged up gas line. The guy couldn't get the fire out no matter how hard he tried because the gas kept coming.

I guess I knew the answer before I put the post up. I was just hoping maybe to save some cash there would be another alternative. However why should I risk it.
