Be Aware!

Guys, I've found myself in this kind of predicament before, going to lengths to be as sure as I can about the condition of a car before I buy it.......and I've even had cars held for me WITHOUT a deposit........

BUT, when a car was held for me, after I said I would buy it, I've never backed out due to the car not being all I expected......... A $1200. car is a $1200. car.......it's gonna have a lot of problems.......and it will have a few more than anyone can possibly convey through pics and descriptions........

If you make a deal, and someone holds a car, then you buy it.......unless there has been a very obvious fraud involved, which in this case, wasn't the case.

The seller is even going the extra mile to be a stand up guy by stating that if he got his money out of another sale, he'd revisit the whole thing!

Just a few weeks ago, a member of a public Mopar forum sold me a car.......he pulled a fast one on me.....lied to me about certain things, hid the fact of a driveline problem, etc..........very upsetting to me, but not the end of the world...not a blown motor or anything....yet.....but I'm not going to out the guy in a public forum........just not going to happen.......

If I have a problem like this, I can handle it myself.......If I got myself into it in the first place, I don't need to be dividing a public community to try to gain some kind of support.

My sympathies to both parties........but fairness and common sense should rule the day. :read2:
