but I have a 69 Dart. I'm sorry because the most of you don't. I have wanted a Dart for a lot of years and I decided that I would get what I WANTED!!! I looked at all the Darts and decided that the 69's were the BEST. I found one and now am re-doing it to what it would have been in the late 60's to early 70's. Of course this means what REAL PEOPLE would have done to their cars at the time. The 69 Dart was the best of the line and after that they gained weight and got bigger. The 66 D-Dart was the start of the true HP age of the Dart and the 69 was the true top of what was to be. Sorry you all couldn't have one!
Yes, I would have loved to have a BB Dart but they bring so much money that most can't afford. If I had one, I would be racing it in class comp. but that isn't to be. I will settle for my 340 and show the rest of the car classes what it is all about.

Are you proclaiming how great your car is, or are you upset that more people have other cars and can't relate to you, so you feel alone? I don't get it....

Personally I don't envy anyone's car really. Nice cars inspire me to get busy on my own and make it nicer! I'm an early A-body guy, and I'm not sorry about anything. The less of you that own early A's the better, that way parts are cheaper for me. :)

But I agree with Moparmetal, let's see this car..we all love photos around here.
 
I believe he is just being sarcastic, I don't know. 69 was a good year for b-bodies too!
 
I have a '69 340 Dart and I know we are not the only ones on this site owning one. I can see why your so proud, they are cool. Although I do still love the '70 and '71. The grill on the '72 isn't near as cool.

But like the others said... Pics please.
 
Thank God we all have different taste otherwise we would all be driving model A's with upgraded 4 cyl and radial tires but the same body.
 
I agree a '69 is nice and I'm thrilled that you are restoring a great mopar, but I tend to prefer the Dart Sport style bodies and I'm sorry you don't have one of those lol.
340 is nice and all, but hey better watch out for those slant sixes they are underestimated hahaha
 
yah 69 was a great year for alot of mopars hell i would love to have a 69 but i do have an 70, 71, 72 darts not to mention 68 1/2 ton 78 1/2 ton, hell i even have an 97 1/2ton 4 by 4 anyways good luck and hope it turns out sweet...
 
I feel bad for you because 68 is actually the best year... lol. mine's a BB 440 to boot. Check out my sig - I'm not that envyous.

Just kidding. 69's are bada$$ - good luck with it.

took that too seriously. We all have our fav's and I'm sure you all have GREAT cars (Their A body’s after all! ). I sometimes have a warped sense of humor and work at keeping in check but I wanted to hear what you think of your cars. Sometimes all we hear all the complaints of what we go through fixing them to true glory.
I loved Daredevil's response the most! He has to be truly proud of his cars.

Dart. I here what you are saying, and know you were joking. I too have
the baddest Dart on the planet.LOL we all do in are own minds. But I am with every one elce.
