Drive Shaft

The Duster is closer to getting back together. I posted one shot of the engine bay. I thought I would pass this tip along: the drive shaft should be checked for wear. What I have found is that in the process of putting in quality U-joints I could literally push the joints in the slip yoke; I figured 'no big deal, I'll just replace the slip yoke.' Then I checked the yoke on the drive shaft - same thing - could push them in by hand. So in the pictures you will see the new drive shaft I had made. We are all on a budget and money is tight. But there is nothing more frustrating than to be out on the road or at the strip and have it cut loose!
The check is real simple and if the U-joints go in nice and tight there shouldn't be an issue.
Hopefully this helps some of you.
