Memike Has An A-body

-
Memike, just showed the thread to my daughter (the one you and Treva sent the diaper cake to last year) and she says congrats and is very happy for you. Says it couldn't of happened to a nicer couple. I have to agree.

Just a "very cool" thing that has happened for Mike! Congrats to you Mike; and all members of FABO.

We done a good thing folks!

I was very touched by the pics.

ENJOY MIKE!

I was busy all week and I'm so sorry I missed it from the start. I still can't believe how fast this was organized and put together. And it couldn't have been given to a nicer guy.

What happened here should be a great example for what others should do for their fellow man. This was an absolutely beautiful act of generosity and kindness. I know I usually try to be the class-clown with some smart-*** remark, but all I can say is you guys are great. This is beyond belief.... total strangers buying a car for a fellow Mopar enthusiast. AWESOME. This is why I support this site almost fanatically... the people here are incredible.

Mike, you gas that old Gal up, open the door for Treva to get in, and go burn a tank of gas just for the sake of burning a tank of gas. Enjoy your new car, she sure looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is a fantastic story to be sure. one that can be told to the generations to follow you mike. it is hard to say anything more that hasn't already been said, so with that enjoy it for years to come!!!!! congrats to you and yours:cheers:

Congrat's Mike and Treva! Victoria went to a very nice home. antolod, you also did a very nice thing here, I am sure you could have held out for more and just been a "I want top dollar" guy. Instead, you saw what was happening and provided Mike with a great looking car and us with great pics. I hope you stick around here. small bock, Bill, you did a great thing here. Not very many people would have taken the time or put up the front money for this to happen.

Three cheers to you all and to all of the members of "ForAbodiesOnly.com"

Jack

It was damned nice of the former owner to jump in to the spirit of the entire affair. Most people wouldn't have given a tinker's darn and just sold the car to the first guy there with the most cash in hand. So to him....:drinkers:

Thanks. I'm Ray, just signed up even though I don't own a Mopar any longer. Had a few in my days, closest now is the Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. Sandy and I were honored to meet Mike and Treva and Bill and Kathy. We want to thank the FABO members for allowing us to be a part of this event. We've been sitting here at the computer ever since Victoria pulled out of the drive following the comments from everyone.

When Small Block call me the other day, and pointed me to this site, Sandy and I spent a few hours reading everything about memike and his saga with the '63. After reading all of that, we knew that no-one else should have this car. It was our pleasure to see it go to such a deserving man.:cheers::cheers:
You guys and gals are great. I sure hope this story makes it into a Mopar collector's magazine. Today sure was a Mopar moment.

Hip Hip Hooray!!! You said it Jack, all involved Get a pat on the back from me.
You guy's and gal's rock! Those pictures made me misty eyed, it's so great to see Mike get the car. Congrats Mike!!!!

Mike, Congrats ! This is the most generous thing I have ever seen from a web site !

I hope automotive magazines pick up on this story. It's absolutely inspiring! This story would make a great movie. Any ideas on a director, actors? I'm so happy MeMike finally has a sweet A-body. MeMike, you rock!!

Fantastic end to a long story. I'm very glad to have been a part of it! Enjoy the car Mike, you deserve it! :)

MeMike & Treva,

Glad you made it home safely.

Get some sleep and Sweet Dreams.....:sleepy5:

Before I jump in a cool shower I have got to say thanks to all of the FABO members. and to the family in Troy Mo. They did so much for me when I arrived. Wait till you see what they put in the car before I got there.
They hung a bass fish on the rear view mirror and a little white dog on the dash that looks like boogie.
I will get more detailed tomorrow .

This is something that will stay in my hart and soul the rest of my life.
I will be back and tell more about this great frw days I have had.

Bill and Cat!! we will be seeing you very soon:wave:

Hey Mike, that is a great looking A-body!

When I saw the picture of you in Vicki wiping the tears, I too had a cry
with you.

This is a wonderful thing that has taken place. About the "movie" there's only
one person that can play you and that is you. There is only one Memike and
I am so proud you are among us.

Best wishes to you and Treva and have fun with the car. I hope I'm
speaking for the rest of the folks here at FABO in saying that we
love :love7: you guys and would like to meet you and Treva someday.

Dang mike thats a nice car. Im glad to see you so happy its amazing what a mopar will do for you. Drive the crud out of it and enjoy. Your the man. Justin

Now that I'm 1/2 owner in a A-body, I thought I'd better join (JUST KIDDING Mike) I promise I will not interrupt to often, but had to sign up to send a message to the Hero's on FABO. Not only to the contributors on car but to all the ones who have made him laugh, think, helped him with ideas, and who has gotten pissed off, with him (over the 63) and those who just took the time to say hello. Words can not express the gratitude that we feel. This week has been an amazing journey in Mikes life, in a much needed time. The joy and love that everyone has shown for him is like none other but pure brotherly (sisterly) love. Unconditional, unforseen and unmistaken.

Mike is still in shock and exhausted but will get back to normal soon, posting and reading like crazy. A special thanks to Small Block, Kathy, Ray, Susan and Kevin for the great hospitality they gave us today. Treva
