Memike Has An A-body

-
Congrats on your new beauty there Mike. Looks better than she did in the craigslist add! The first half-dozen pics posted on kevins thread of you and your wife with the car here say it all, nice to see someone on cloud nine:cheers:brings a big smile on everyones face to see something so good happening these days. A friend of mine told me when I bought a MOPAR that Mopar people are different than any other folks in the classic car community, I think this event and the good done for Marvin in N.B. is dam good proof of that!!!!!!!!!!!:drinkers:Big cheers to everyone at FABO>

Congrats MeMike! with the way things are going in this Country and around the world, what everyone has done for you warms my heart. Not only has God blessed you....he's blessed everyone here. It truly is better to give than recieve. This is a VERY unique and wonderful website.

I'm glad to hear this all went so well and memike has his car. I never knew the fate of the 63 but It's great to hear you finally have one, and such a great looking car at a steal of a price. Congrats MeMike good luck with it.

While we were in St Louis admiring the car Treva told Kathy that she thought it definatly looked like a Grandmas car. You'd better watch her Mike or you'll be looking for another car. Grandmas like to drive nice cars too. I like the 1/2 owner thing too Treva. Mike, it looks like you've already lost 1/2 of it. Next it will be 3/4 and then...........you'll be up here diging through my field. When i come home some day and see Mike walking in my "Field of Dreams" i'll know what happened. Thanks for the memories. Post us some pics Mike.

We were gone all day yesterday from 7am to 11pm and were dead tired on our return and had to grab some shut eye but wondered how Mike and everyone else was making out throughout the day. Now I know. I am so happy to hear that Victoria was everything you expected and that she is now enjoying here new digs on the hill. What can I say that hasn't been said all ready? Mike, you deserved this car. And although you have expressed your thankfulness, we should be the ones that are thankful that we found a person and cause so deserving that it pulled us out of our usual day-to-day routines (if just for a short while) to ban together for a common goal - one that lead to one man's pure joy and to many other's sense of all that is good about humanity and community. Congratulations Mike!

You got a great car from the looks of it Memike...........We know you'll take great care of her.......... Blessings to ya', and have fun. 8)

Doc :read2:

GTXperience Wow you said it. Wiping tears again. Proud to know MeMike and Treva. Also SmallBlock and Kathy. Thanks for the memories.

Mike is at the computer trying to get his feeling and thoughts down to his fingers, most know he's a little slow typing.

Small Block & Kathy opened their home and hearts to us and would like to thank them again for the wonderful gift they have given.

Ray and Sandy, total strangers who threw us a great party and great host/hostess. We appreciate everything you guys did.

I can hear Mike pecking away and the computer and will let him express in his words how we both feel.

FABO again thank you all for your generous gift of love to MeMike.

Congrats Mike and Treva, nice looking A- body, ENJOY. Glad everyone made it safely. Looking forward to some pics when you have a chance.

Can you guess what the first thing he did when he woke up???? Yes your right, he looked out the window to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

Again wiping away tears. I hope Ray and I can get something done today. Since Tuesday we have done nothing but sit in front of this computer. Love you guys. Sandy

(What, no pics of the leaning tower of power?) Nothing I can add to what's already been said. Congratulations, Mike! Enjoy the new ride!

My, oh, my, but she is lovely, isn't she.

Love the Bass, I had the same one in my work truck:toothy10:.

Great to see you enjoyed yourself, Mike. I couldn't imagine the feelings you were going through, but just reading about it is giving me goosebumps.

This is truly a fabulous site.

Small Block, you outdid yourself on this one. You are a fine gentleman to be sure. And you have the coolest backyard to boot:cheers:.

Congrats Mike , thanks to all FABO who contributed to his dream, this shows there are still good people in this world.
Mike I hope to see you in Memphis this October. Dane

This is the first time was i seen this thread i haven't had much time to be online lately.
Wow you guys are unbelievable i have never seen such generousity in my life and to help out someone that most of us will probably never have the opportunity to meet is truely remarkable,i just wish i could have contributed to this in some way.

Congrats. Memike on your new ride i know that you will give her a good home!

congradulations memike. I havn't been a member too long here, and wish I could have contributed but the fact that I am a broke teenager doesn't help! Hope you have a good time.

GTXperience~~~ Ditto!

Way to go FABO. Way to go MeMike!!!

Aloha brother!

What happened here should be a great example for what others should do for their fellow man. This was an absolutely beautiful act of generosity and kindness. I know I usually try to be the class-clown with some smart-*** remark, but all I can say is you guys are great. This is beyond belief.... total strangers buying a car for a fellow Mopar enthusiast. AWESOME. This is why I support this site almost fanatically... the people here are incredible.

i dont think it could have been said any better then that

1966 Valiant named Victoria aka Vicky.......$2200.00

Seeing MeMike's reaction.......................Priceless

For the important things in life, FABO!!!
