Do any of you guys have an el cheapo trick for making the grill shell/ headlight buckets and trunk trim look presenable for a car that's not a show car? Just gonna race it and maybe hit the cruise ins with it. 68 barracuda.
I just don't have the bucks to send it off and do it right at the moment. I do have lots of pieces though.

That looks REALLY good ! However the 69 grill has a chrome piece added to a plastic body and mine (67-68) is all aluminum. The aluminum is clear anodized and is now "milky" looking. Done properly it would have the anodizing stripped then the metal polished and the re cleared. Any more ideas? Thanx for the replies.

You could try the chrome paint. It doesnt look bad on smaller items. I used it on a small peice of trim that was pitted really bad. It also works good on smaller interior parts.
