Ok!! I just have to know

Mike,
I have had every combination under the moon on my /6 car.
I started with a 1bbl, than a 2bbl, and finally a 4 bbl.
I built a pretty trick exhaust manifold that I honed out and gasket matched. Ripped out the heat riser, and welded the holes. This manifold ran very strong. Ended up selling it for $250.00. Got to be a record lol.

When I started,my car was a stock 225 with a 1bbl 1920 Holley carb. I added
a single 2.25" exhaust to the back. Topped that off with a Pertronix electronic ign, good wires and a MSD Blaster coil. With the larger exhaust I went up 2 sizes on the main jet. This was a great upgrade, with a definate seat of the pants performance gain.

This is where I think you should start. Put on your electronic ign, with a good set of wires, and coil (MSD Blaster) and add a 2.25" exhaust, from the manifold back. Then go up 2 sizes on the main jet. You will see a real power gain ,and be contempt for a while. While your at it, add a free flowing air cleaner.

What carb is on your car Carter or Holley?

Anyways this is where I would start, then you/we can figure out the next step.
If you have any questions, PLEASE ask.
