wrong clutch fork?

hello i just put my new clutch in and was looking at it and noticed that the throuout bearing didnt seat it right, took a closer look and its like the clutch fork is a 1/2inch too long, with alittle pressure on the fork it pushes the bearing to the passenger side. i doesnt seem right; now i just had a clutch failure (borg and beck style) one of the three fingers on the pressure plate were stuck in (engaged); will i have the same problem again? the new clutch is a diapram type (centerforce), or am i over reacting and its no big deal?!? thanks for the help.

try sending this pic to brewers, see if they can answer your question,,,il soon be putting a fork in with the same clutch,,,ill post you a pic
