cal tracks

how long should the bar be on the cal tracks? mine are 16 5/16" thay are going on a 72 dart swinger.i did a mock up and thay seem to long.thanks

hi, the front spring is 20 " center to center. that makes the bar shorter compared to spring length. the bar has to be shorter for it to function properly
and make it work. my bars are shorter on my a body, they work just great!!
calvert has designed a great simple rear traction setup. it's considered a poor mans 4 link.
