Week in the woods

Just got back from a week in the woods and thought I would post a few pics from a side trip we took. Went to the state fish hatchery at Petersburg, WV where the golden trout was first discovered in the 50's. The first picture is a shot of the hatching shed and the grounds. The second is the female brood stock in a holding pond outside the hatching shed. They looked to be around 2 feet long. The third shot is the male brood stock. They were 3-4 inches longer than the females. They were due to be stripped and milked starting Monday the 11th for a new hatchery run to produce what is in the last two pictures, waiting their turn to go into our streams. Know they ain't Mopars, but fish are a close second. Enjoy.
