'75 duster windshield gasket

ok, got the windshield in, and there is a big problem. The gasket fit great in the body, and the windshield fit great in the gasket. However, when we put the stainless trim on, there is a huge, 3/8" gap between the gasket and trim on the roof line and the a pillar. Now, this is the original window, trim, and I have not removed or changed the original clips, so it has to be the gasket. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm pissed to say the least. By the way, the gasket is a precision gasket, and it was professionally installed by a local glass company with many years experience.

Thanks,

Will

Will, The gasket wont have much affect on the molding as the clip location doesn't change when the gasket goes in. If you are using the same molding with the original clip location, make sure the molding goes between the body and the clip, not between the clip and the gasket.
