it always amazes me when people ask; "why are you selling?"
...i say; "why are you asking?" because its really nobodys business.
maybe that doesn`t apply here as this is supposed to be a "friendly" site (but i`ve had occasions here where others weren`t so friendly!)
the point is; would you expect someone to say they`re selling because the cars a P.O.S. with insurmountable problems? that doesn`t exactly attract buyers! and even if they did say that one should realize things like that are relative. what is a huge problem for one person is a piece of cake for the next person.
theres nothing that scares me when it comes to old Mopars.
i have one that i just listed under both the parts section AND the cars for sale section. its a car i swore i wouldn`t sell!
oh yaa, its a real P.O.S. but thats not the point or why i`m selling it.
my reasons are simple, personal and not so unusual.
i broke up with my boyfriend and i moved out. i needed someplace to live so i quickly bought an old mobile home fixer upper and as i`m not made of money i realized i`d rather sleep in a house than in my car...i can`t afford to make both the way i`d like them so i chose to sell the car rather than just let it sit. if i come into some extra money i`ll buy another.
now is that really a buyers business or does it make a difference?
unfortunate that vultures hover awaiting fresh meat CHEAP!
and in truth most people sell because they want the money and usually also because they feel they need the money...so the buzzards pick!
here locally in the TampaBay Florida area there are some real
1@#$%^&!!!-holes, but i swear before i give them my car at scrap metal price i`ll drive it to the crusher myself and take pictures as the tires pop and they turn it into a pancake!!! (if they let me leave the tires on that is!)
yes, women like cars too and some of us know alot about them!
