Wow 50 posts on a welcome wagon thread, who would think a pretty lady who pulls wrenches would draw so much attention? Well welcome and enjoy your stay here:happy10:

My thoughts exactly macadoo! Just a couple of hours and already on pg. 3. Anyway, welcome LL!! You will find a bunch of great information here as well as a bunch of UNIQUE individuals - must be something associated with being MOPAR nuts.
Glad to see you converting from the 'darkside' - remember...Real race cars don't wear bowties!!!" LOL

Wow. This is the fastest-growing welcome thread I've seen thus far.

Welcome to the party. :) This is a good bunch.

Ok boys. I want to see the pics of your race Darts. Not just Darts~race darts.

Welcome aboard LL, I am an old bowtie guy myself, coming from the land of corvettes. The first car I ever drove was a 69 Barracuda vert so now I am on the hunt as well and was pointed to this wonderful site by a fellow vette enthusiast. I will be going to check out a 69 notchback cuda this saturday so hopefully if everything pans out I can get a couple good weeks of cruising in before having to button her up for the winter and the projects that will ensue.

Welcome to the site. I was going to comment on the beautiful Dog you have in your avitar.......until I clicked on your Bio, You got that dog licked by a long shot!!:):) I'm sure you will find alot of useful Dart race info here. There are some top notch men and women here running some wicked darts.

Don't exclude the slant six either.....that would be an interesting build.

Ah 7172 THANX !!!

That is Lonnies car I think I was told about with the 408 !! That is exactly what I want *drooooool *

From the looks of this thread I'm sure some of you guys may have heard this before:

Hello, I'm Chris Hansen from Dateline NBC. :-D

Welcome LL,

I think one thing you'll find out quickly is it's not cheap to build a mopar engine. It's not like the chevy world where there are 10 suppliers for just about any part. Good blocks are generally double the cost of a bowtie. I used to street race a chevy to pay for my Mopars. One nice thing, our stuff generally doesn't require the refresh intervals, nor the crazy RPM, of the other brands.

Depending on what you want to, there are some very smart SB guys; Ryan at Shady Dell, Brain Hafliger (BB too) at Indio Motor Machine.

Good choice in a Dart. Make excellent race cars.

Good luck and again, welcome to FABO.
