I have narrowed down my choice down to these three intakes.which one would you pick and why?

Mopar m1

Edelbrock victor340

weiand X

this will be going on a 13.1 compression 340
mopar 312-590 solid cam
bowl ported 596 heads with 2.02- 1.60 valves
mopar 1.5 roller rockers
1-5/8 or 1-3/4 headers
proform 750 hp carb
904 tranny with around 5500 stahl
4.10 or 4.56 gears
M/T 275/60/15 drag tires

all this going into a 3300 pound 73 dart.Thanks Mopar658)8)

Since it looks like you're building a high RPM screamer I'd go with the M1 or Torker both single planes and biggest headers you can find so that doesn't become the bottle neck, it seems like there's always one. Personally I think Weiand are a piece of crap for both SM's and BB's but that could just be me.LOL

personally i like the old holleys. Street dominator and strip dominator.
There good across the power band and have been top 3 in all comparison tests.
Best way to choose is look at comparison test and compare rpm ranges.
Im more into building nastalgia cars so new intakes dont really fly with me,
Im bought two old weiand tunnel rams for my smallblocks. They have proven themselfs throughout time.
Sold my other sb though so now i have my other tunnel ram for sale.

m.o.

the Victor is the best of the bunch if you are running over 6500 rpm..

victor is good for your 3 choices or the weiand team g if you can get your hands on one. The height of them are a consideration if you run a stock hood.

How would the offy port-o-sonic stack up? My old direct connection engines book had high praise for it as well.

Victor. It's a higher RPM intake and that cam isn't shy of RPM'S!!!!!!!

An Old Wise Engine Builder Told Me His Best Intake On Every Motor He Raced Was The Holley. But Liked M1 Too. So I Have A M1 BB And Know I Am Switching To Holley Dominater.

It's about plenum height/volume and runner distribution other wise most all 3 will suit high rpm's.

victor with your combo all day, go to hughes engines and look through there tech page and dyno results, m 1 was better in mid range but top end rpms the victor beat it , and your combo sounds like a high revver, let us know what it turns8)

Victor. I had a 340 that made just under 500hp with less cam and compression then your combo. With the Victor, a 1" open spacer and a Proform 750 it pulled to 7000rpms. Go with the 456s, LOL

Victor... unless you get one of those fully worked over M1's.

I would use the M-1 as a old friend of mine had a M-1 and then switched to a Victor and there wasn't any difference in ET so I would go for the cost aspect of it and the M-1 is cheaper.

According to summit's web site that I just looked at they show a small block mopar victor at $257 and in the new summit book they show a m-1 at $232.

I agree 100% in that case.

I have the M-1 on the duster, & I really like it. Pulls real hard. 360/360 J heads & a 284 solid cam.

Anyone know if the victor has provisions for a mechanical temp. gauge??

Victor 1 3/4 headers 4.56 gears and best of luck on keeping head gaskets in that thing

victor is good but i personally like holley strip master reworked is a bad *** hi -rpm screamer but victor m.1 are very good intakes[single planes] tunnelrams r a pain but when right work good looks impressive, but personally single planes and single carbs are cheaper and make as much hp with right combo good luck
