440 in my 66 cuda

I put a 440 in my 66 Cuda back about 9 years ago...car's gone now.

When I bought the car it didn't have inner fenderwells, so I didn't care too much about using a set of fenderwell headers that I had sitting around.

I also used elephant ears for the motor mount. The car was originally a /6 auto manual steering and manual brakes.

Since I had the elephant ears I took the time to move the motor back up against the firewall, thus giving me more tire clearance.

I didn't have to modify the headers, but it was tight anyway.

I used an Edlebrock TM7 intake which allowed me to use my stock flat hood.

Here is a pic that I have. I will see if I can find more.

Do you remember what size tires you ran on the front of that beast?
