Need a 4-Speed

SGGDuster, if you have a bellhousing with multiple patterns where the tranny mounts it will accept the 4spd (see the the picture in Outlaws link). Also, the other thing you need to pay attention to is the clearance hole in the bell housing the article talks about that too. Don't forget the slip yoke that goes into the tranny on the end of the drive shaft. The 4spd and 727 auto use a larger one than the 3pds and 904 auto. You will need to swap that too.

One other thing. The A/F body 4spd are more rare thant the long tail shaft trannies used in B/E/C and pickup/vans. You can can use the long tail shaft tranny in an A-body with no real issues.
