how much difference between 3.91 and 4.10

I think a 3.91 is as deep as any street/strip car should go. I have run 2.8, 3.23 4.30, 4.56, and 4.89 on the street.
Anything lower than a 3.9 should be avoided on the street. I loved the 3.23 for normal performance. The 4.30 was testy. The 4.56 was a ball from red light to red light but when I tried to drive it 5 miles on the interstate, I almost got ran over with the engine screaming.
We use to have a 3/16 mile drag strip here. Launched at 3000 with the 4.56. Shifted at 6000 and went thru the trapps at 5000 with street tires about 26" tall tires.
It really depends what you expect from your car.
