I am a new member to the site that was recomended to me by a fellow in a 340 duster on car craft week end in saint paul. I am the current owner of 3 A-bodies...

73 440 auto Dart sport runs 12:20s in street trim thru exhaust

70 dart singer 383 auto with NOS not quite done!

63 dart that was the white bear dodge race car since day 1...I am desperately seeking pictures of this car as it was raced back in the day! I want to start on this project but I want to restore it to the way it was! I will try to add pics of this car. Again any one with pics I will pay for duplicates and will be greatly appreciative!

Thanks guys!

I wish I lived in AZ right now...2 degrees right now but at least it is +2 and not -2

I agree on the history part of the car that is why I want to do it right!

I love the yellow duster by the looks of the launch i would guees low 10s to high 9s ???

Welcome to the site! I live in St. Cloud. Did you get that car off of ebay? I seen it there awhile back, thought it was pretty cool. Do you know the drivers name of your car? Maybe the original name or if the name changed? It looks like old Direct Connection colors too. Sweet find, good luck!

it was at mopars in the park and was overpriced at the time, I don't know if it was on e-bay but it surfaced on craigslist for $500 and I was first one there with my flatbed tow truck.

I like the look of your 66...VERY COOL!!! I owned a 64 v-200 factory v-8 4 speed car that I bought strickly because a friend has a sb cross ram intake and I was going to stroke a 360 to 426 ci and use the crossram to build a mini max wedge car but he sold the intake the day before I picked up the car.

Thanks! If you click on my profile you can view more pics of it. I didn't see that car at the mopars in the park show, very good deal you got. I really enjoyed the mopar show in Farmington this year, also got to run my car on the chassis dyno they had set up!

welcome to FABO! Sorry, don't have the pics you need. Some one will though. Good luck finding them

To get info, ya might want to bump this to the front once or twice a week for a while so more people will see it. there is so much traffic on here that the post slides to the back pretty quik.

See if Don Sharadon at Sharadon Performance has any pictures. He's been involved in local racing forever. He has a 440 GTS he bought new at WBD, it has never seen the street. 651-426-0061 Hugo MN

Actually I am good friends with Don and He actually owned this car for a breif time but he has no pictures of it. The history I got was it was raced until the mid 70s by white bear dodge and they pulled the drivetrain and sold it to Don, Don set in a 440 and auto trans but never completed it and sold it that way to a guy in Forest lake who never did anything with it and put it in rental storage and then he did not pay storage fees and was auction off to the guy I bought from in Vadnais hieghts who did not do anything with it. That is why except for the primer it still has the original paint scheme. I could duplicate the paint scheme but I need much more detailed info before I start...Like engine and trans combo and tires and wheels, seats etc..The alternative is to duplicate as much as I can and build the rest the way I want...440, tunnel ram, 5000 stahl and 4:88's, cragars on front, steel 2 tone painted heels on back with pie crust cheeter slicks! Then put lights on it and drive it!:-D

The car came with fiberglass rear bumper...How many of those have you seen?

Welcome to the site. That`s a nice find and a rare piece of your local drag racing history. I hope you can gather enough information and pictures to accurately return it to it`s earlier appearance.

car is mine now.
quest for pictures is still on.
looks the same after 3 years, i aim to change that.
