1971 Demon Driver

Welcome to Fabo! This is a great site with lots of good guys and info!

Nice looking project, it looks like a good start for a nice driver.

I agree with Jims71 Duster, find a donor car such as any 73-76 A-Body with a V8. This will give you the big bolt pattern disc brakes, the stronger spool mount k-frame, power steering and power brakes. The cheapest way to get BBP axles for your 8.75 rear is to cut down a set of C-Body axles which were the Mopar boats such as the new yorkers, newports and polaras as well as others from 65-74.

The BBP rear drums (10"X1.75")can be found on 73-76 A-Body 8.25 rearends and I think you can make the other (10"X2.5" brakes from B and E-Bodys work as well with a different offset on your wheels.

Good luck with you project and Happy Holidays!
