I figured I would start a new thread on my 66 Dart 6 banger with Clifford 4 bbl. intake and 4 bbl. holley carb. also headders and dual exhaust.
First off this is when I picked up the car,in the middle of a snow storm.I got it in the garage to thaw it out.Thought it,s Boxing Day and I already have the parts to convert drums to bbp disc.So I spent the afternoon swapping.Had to rest the ralleys on it to see how it looked.I Had all the conv. parts from a donar car (73 Dart Swinger 318)Just have to get axels for the 8 3/4 rear now. This was the best Boxing Day I,ve ever had!

I don,t know if anybody is interested in the parts I,ll have:
66 Dart or Cuda,9 inch drums and brake assembly
7 1/4 rear with new brake assembly, drums.Best offer takes them and I,ll donate to Mary and Grumps.Thanks.

Well today I removed the 7 1/4 rear, there was some kind of bee or bug farm on the cover??Looks wierd??Anyway took pics. of the new brake shoes and other brand new adjusters and parts. Now I need the moser axels to get my 8 3/4 under there. Then this car will stand tall on new boots.HaHa!!Time to measure and cut the d.shaft and new u-joints.If anybody,s interested in the drums and new shoes(brakes)pm me.I don,t want to throw them in the garbage.

Looks like a classic case of mud wasps! Those things were all over the underside of my dart when I bought it.

Well I,m just glad they would have froze off up here when the car made the trip up.Today was a balmy 50 degrees and the 2 feet of snow melted.

On Friday night I posted an ad on Kijiji.com for some Dodge 15 inch bbp rallys, and yesterday I got a response from an old guy close by(20 mins.)Said he had the rallys on a 66 Coronet. So off I went and scored 4 15inch bbp rallys for $200.These rallys are getting hard to find used. The old guy had quite a bit off old nostalgia stuff at his farm.(Old cars, rears, rims motors, pickups)It was like stepping back in time.Cool.I,m only useing 2 for the rear as I have 14,s on the front.

Isn't it fun working around snow in the Winter? It realy makes you appreciate when Spring show's up. You get used to it though, and sometimes, it even makes you work a little faster! (keeps you warmer) Anyway, nice work!
