Anybody done a 69 red interior? I am looking for the correct spray can stuff to do the dash frame and steering column, as well as, re dye the kick panels, pillar moldings, seat hinge covers, etc. Also, anyone know who restores the 69 cuda sport steering wheels? (the same as woodgrain, but w/ the woodgrain part being interior color). Also, looking for a red or white(for re dye) console plastic. All parts pertaining to 69 cuda. Hope, you a body guys can help. Moparts could not.:-D And thanks in advance.

Red interiors are very complex. They have a bunch of diffrerent shades. The dash, metal parts, and hard plastic will all be different. Then the carpet and seats will probably be something else.

Have you looked at the selection of reds and burgandys from SEM interior paints??

pm hotcudaphil. He had some red interior A-body parts for sale: http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=50321

My son has a 69 fastback cuda with a red interior and we've been working on it off and on since this summer, and the closest we've found to the interior vinyl color was at O'Reillys auto parts. It was Dupli-Colorvinyl and fabric paint, part number - HVP110 BURGANDY -. AUTOXCUDA is right about the color, this one is original except for the exterior paint and the seat covers. The carpet is a different shade of red, from the dash and the dash is a different shade from the side panels and so on. You don't know where you can get a dask pad or cap by chance do you? Good luck

New very good quality original type construction dash pads from www.beaparts.com for $225. Original construction meaning: metal core, molded foam over metal core and then vacuum formed vinyl cover with correct grain. These are not recovered old ones and not solid rubber molded ones that you can see fine air bubbles in the grain.

thanks guys, I have heard good stuff about the dashes as well. I am thinking that door panels, carpet, seat covers, etc will be correct from legendary, but am still curious about red dash frame paint and plastic stuff(console, kick panels, etc) thanks again to anyone that can help. cory
