There will be a MOPAR meet on Jan 17
at 6 pm in Brookfield at Five Guys Burger and Fries.
I used to have this meet every year at Marcus Dairy, but the food
and service there sucks.
No cars. Just bring yourselves.
The food is excellent at this new location.
The address is 121 Federal Rd.
Take 84 to exit 7, get off the Federal Rd
exit, bottom of ramp take left. Go 2 lights take right. The restaurant
is 1/4 mile on the right.
Hope to see you there

LOL, check the weather forecast before coming. Map out the run and avoid New York City. See ya there.

Exit 84 when traveling I-95? And the town is called, Brookfield?
Correct?

West of the Port Jeff/Bridgeport ferry?

Balancing out hours of travel vs. ferry ride cost. The 400 is thirsty, so I'm screwed no matter what.

Rob, I-84 Exit 7. Its a few exits after the one you got off when you went to my place last year.

I personally don't feel the ferry is worth the trouble. The ride is longer and its not cheap.

Adam, Rumble told me about this last night... Good Cheeseburgers? I'll be there...

Cool, Glad to have you. This is actually Pete VEights get together. He told me to invite any mopar people I know. I think he forgot I know about 9000 mopar people, LOL

The problem is getting anyone to commit to a drive over. All I ever hear is whinnnnne's and excuses.

From experience, you will get firm commitments from a bunch. Roughly 1/2 are just being nice, and another 10% will have things that really came up. Pete's well known around here (Except I just met him... thanks to Adam...lol). I'm sure there will be non board members there in decent numbers.

Looks like all of you that has posted live waaayyy closer than I do.

Im not expecting a huge turn out. Maybe a dozen of us. Should still be a fun time.

Dang it boy... Rob that is a very, very nice offer and might take you up on it one day. Thanks a million!

I could really justify the long *** trip and gas money if it was a car show, seeing some good looking chicks, swap meet, picking up a motor or car, (you know what I mean) AND finally meeting you guys, but I REALLY do mean I can't afford it.

I would like to finally meet you, John, Adam but you might need to hire a interpreter so y'all can understand my slow country accent! And I will be saying "Slow down and say that one more time."

Gosh you almost live on a island don't you?

Take it up in the summer.

Car show? CAR SHOW? LOL, weekly meets at a train station pull in an average 2,000 cars in one county, around the corner from me a bi-weekly car show pulls in the like amount or more. Smaller sub-meets happen all week long through out the Island.

Come when you can.

LOL RFLMAO, I'll help out if need be. I spend enuff time in the south that I feel like I can be up to the chore.

FYI, New York City is made up of 5 countys called Boro's, 2 of which are on the Island, proper, 2 are Islands, 1 on the main land.
It's actually a small area (Approx. 300 square miles) that packs in approx. 8 million people as regular everyday residents.

I Just had an idea, click this and waste time on facts, become smarter than most New Yorkers, LOL
; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City
or
http://www.nyc.com/

And if the city doesn't have enuff for ya, New Jersey and Con. state are chok fill as well with things to be done.

I finally get to meet John after 5 years !

Really.... and we're only about 50 miles (if that...) apart as the crow flies.

I'll hook up with Rob and drive up. Amy might/might-not come. I might take the Dart or the VW. Either way, as long as the weather doesn't take a dump on us, I'll be there. :-D

Anyone hear from George on this?

Hi guys,
I got the PM's from ya's this am, but I'm not sure if I can make it yet, so I didn't want to commit. I will know more as the week progresses.
Thanks for thinking of me.

George
