I'm talking about actual heads-up full bodied car racing. Check out an Outlaw 10" tire or NMCA race sometime.

In the NMRA finals last year (pretty restrictive for Outlaw racing), there were a ton of small block cars running low 7s and 200 mph on true 10.5" tires (not Ws). They're running almost that fast these days on drag radials.
