With every style of lift there are always pro's and con's, you need to buy what works for you and the space you have to work with. Here is another option for the guys with an 8 foot ceiling height, lift height is 52" to the bottom of the frame. With the arms rotated in and the flip plates down the compressed height is about 5" so it's easy to drive over and doesn't take away any garage space when your not using it.
