Can you tell by this picture , if this
hood will fit a 70 dart swinger?

looks like a 70-72 Dart/demon hood to me .
A dart sport would have the pointed nose yeah ?

Well I'm a Dart/Demon Guy I would be way off guessing about Duster pieces .
You can see the hood in My avatar same ridges on either side the 73-Up Darts didn't have those . And they have what some people call a parrots beak.

Well I'm a Dart/Demon Guy I would be way off guessing about Duster pieces .

I was thinking 73 up darts were just swingers.... with the parrot beak... my buddy has a 73 swinger.. i know that car pretty well :cool:

Longarm, where did you get that hood? It looks like the one I just sold to dartkevin. Is it blue on the underside? Either way, it'll fit on a 70-72 Dart for sure. Geof
 
Hi Cogig,
I bought the hoods some time ago.

I'll keep you guys updated on the outcome after I get a little
farther along.
I don't get to work on things in a timely manner sometimes.
I've got a couple hours in measuring and cutting so far.
I will cutout the green hood then flange and spot weld
the sectioned part back in.
The sectioned part is going to reguire some massaging to fit properly
at the front.
 
Hey Longarm! What yard did you go to? Did they have any early 63's or 64's? I used to go junkyard hopping in Columbus every weekend.

73-76 Dart Sport as well. Same hood "external skin" as the 69 Barracuda, but the underside front crumple zones are different.
