Wow, speak of the devil.... I just got this e-mail from Metro:

Checked on a few things here, we are waiting for some raw materials to come in before I can make you a protype up for you to try. I assume it will be 2-3 weeks before we get our material in, try to hang in there, we are still going to take care of you.
