I believe the early 340s had the fan clutch even if they didn't have AC. I run the Mopar Performance fan clutch on my engine. Fits great and to the average guy looks stock.
I thought so too but in the 68 parts manual I`ve found part# 2863213, a 7 blade, 1.50" pitch, fan blade for 340/383 without air. It`s the same number fan I`ve got on my car now.
