:hello2:
It's been quite a while since I've been on here... registered back on the original site, and kinda forgot about things... whoops!

I guess I'll re-introduce myself and let all you guys see what I've got!

I'm about 97% done with my '69 Barracuda resto"modification"... it's a numbers matching slant six car that's been throughly worked over and gone through. She's putting down over 220ft lbs and 160 hp at the rear wheels, while still keeping it pump gas friendly (if you can call premium "friendly"..) :banghead:

I just picked up (on Friday) my newest aquisition that's going to be turned into a 440 Street Machine. She's a '67 Fastback. Originally an AZ car, she's virtually rust free, but does need new floor pans and a little attention in the rear quarters, but nothing compared to the rust repair my '69 needed!

I've attached a couple pics here, and there's a link to my website in my signature. I look forward to hanging out here MUCH more often now and I also look forward to getting to know lots of you around!

Take care!

Mike

Thanks guys! I was a regular over at CC.com since almost its inception, but the Admin and I over there had a little "falling out" period you could say and I'm not too welcome anymore. Long story short, clashing personalities and egos got in the way of the most important thing that everybody is here for - the Love of Mopars. Oh well, fresh start here... plus, you guys get a treat that they don't - you get to watch me build up my 440 Street Machine! :colors: :colors:

I'll try to post progress pics as often as I can, but my job tends to keep my quite busy! I'll post some more pics tonight of the weekends progress on the white car.... still have to organize all the parts that came with it!

As far as the blue car, we had to pull the motor back out because of a bad oil leak. Wasn't sure if it was the oil pan or the rear main, so we replaced both and masked her off and gave her a couple more coats of paint. Waiting on my new MSD ignition setup and I also need to get brackets welded on my aluminum radiator before she's fully back together again.

Take Care!

Mike

Welcome LB! Your 225 puts out probably what my tired old 273 is putting out right now! Nice score on the 67, BTW.

Wow, you put a lot of work in to that fish. Great pictures on your site.

Thanks Adam! Appreciate the comments! You're right though, there's a TON of work into the Blue car...

I bought her 2 weeks before I turned 16, and once I had my permit, my dad and I put some TLC into the car to make it road safe. I drove it during my Jr. year of High School. After about 9 months and 3K miles later (rolled over to 40K original miles), the car was showing it's age and wasn't very safe on the road anymore. The car had been sold new in Chicago, and lived it's whole life here, so the rust was VERY prominant and honestly, wasn't very safe to start with.

My friends and I started talking about upgrading things on the car, so we started tearing things off to fix and/or replace them and next thing I knew, we had a bare shell of a car in front of us. Fast forward 9 months (yes, the car sat that long without a thing done to her)... I took the car up to a body shop that came recommended from a friend with a Daytona. Fast forward another 9 months and the finished blue shell came home. Fast forward another 6 months and she made her debut at a local car show and took 2nd place in A-body Modified (she also didn't have a SINGLE piece of glass in the car and she still took 2nd place!).

I'm hoping to make the '67 Fastback just as nice, but as we all know, it takes money, time, and lots more money! As I start doing some serious work on the '67, I'll post pics for you all to enjoy and drool over!
