Well hello!

Thanks Adam! Appreciate the comments! You're right though, there's a TON of work into the Blue car...

I bought her 2 weeks before I turned 16, and once I had my permit, my dad and I put some TLC into the car to make it road safe. I drove it during my Jr. year of High School. After about 9 months and 3K miles later (rolled over to 40K original miles), the car was showing it's age and wasn't very safe on the road anymore. The car had been sold new in Chicago, and lived it's whole life here, so the rust was VERY prominant and honestly, wasn't very safe to start with.

My friends and I started talking about upgrading things on the car, so we started tearing things off to fix and/or replace them and next thing I knew, we had a bare shell of a car in front of us. Fast forward 9 months (yes, the car sat that long without a thing done to her)... I took the car up to a body shop that came recommended from a friend with a Daytona. Fast forward another 9 months and the finished blue shell came home. Fast forward another 6 months and she made her debut at a local car show and took 2nd place in A-body Modified (she also didn't have a SINGLE piece of glass in the car and she still took 2nd place!).

I'm hoping to make the '67 Fastback just as nice, but as we all know, it takes money, time, and lots more money! As I start doing some serious work on the '67, I'll post pics for you all to enjoy and drool over!
