Concealed Carry Weapon

*****! :thebirdm: lol! Two of my co-workers both have CCW's, one is the CEO's son, an ex Army Ranger and the other is our HR director, a woman. They both steered me to the same instructor.

LOL! No kid at 43 and have been shooting since I was 10. My Dad was a Marine and made beachheads at Okinawa, Bouganville and one more that escapes me at this moment. He survived all this to have ten children of which I am the last. He was the man that taught me proper firearms safety and marksmanship. He started me on a BB gun (no, I didn't shoot my eyes out, lol) then bought me a Ruger 10/22. Let's just say I've been reloading my own for the last 12 years. ;)

Yes, in a situation one shot should do it with a SP101 in .357 mag and it only holds five too. I can't imagine a "situation" where I would be shooting over a distance of 20 feet.

H&K makes some the best weapons I've ever fired, but I've never used one of their pistols. I did have a surplus 18.5" CETME in .308 which was the base for H&K 91. Bad *** rifle, no doubt. Not as accurate as M1A1 but devasting at 200 yards and under. Puts the AK47 to shame as far as power and accuracy. Unfortunately, the H&K is out of my price range, just like the SIG's.

Beatifully made and reliable, just too big for my purpose. I'd still take the .357 over the 9mm. I like the 45ACP better for close range but again, there's the concealibilty factor. Great weapon, but come on man, how am I going to conceal a Browning HP on me in the summer? I'm 5'11 and 210. Not a little dude but not a giant by any stretch of the imagination.

The Browning is smaller than a .357, less stopping power, but more bullets. Shoot them 4 times.
