Concealed Carry Weapon

life or death wheel gun hands down. my 1st firearm was a ruger. the first gun i shot was a ruger. price and reliability they are great guarantee the damned thing unless you go and do something stupid with it. ive seen thousands of rounds go through a sp101 2" w/spur. never a failure. semi auto's are more complex more things to break, fail to feed, fail to fire... there are pros and cons on both sides of the board. i always recommend the sp101 to anyone who wants personal protection. i like the option of switching between .38 special and .357 mag. not sure where you live but ammo has been steadily rising with rumors of a tax increase on ammo. just a friendly reminder if you have to defend yourself by shooting another person always use factory loaded ammo that way you cover your own *** against law suits. cant remember the exact details why but the local sheriff dept. basically told me that rock salt was a no no despite being nonlethal. i guess less liability...

if you come across a .22lr sp101 in california let me know & i'll snatch it right up(once they leave the state they cant come back)....

Thanks man, Ruger firearms for me has always filled the bill as far as revolvers are concerned. I have never had a Ruger revolver fail to fire for me ...... ever.

I would never handload in a self-protection weapon, point well taken and thank you for your learned input. :read2:
